Forrester Cole was a postdoctoral researcher at Pixar Animation Studios. He is interested in rendering algorithms to create stylized, expressive effects, and in how humans perceive stylized imagery. Before joining Pixar he was a postdoctoral associate in the Computer Graphics Group at MIT, where he worked on line drawing algorithms. He received an A.B. from Harvard in 2002 and a Ph.D. from Princeton in 2009, both in computer science. In between college and grad school he spent two years programming video games at the now-defunct Pandemic Studios.
