Theodore Kim is currently a Senior Scientist in the Pixar Research
Group, where he is working on a variety of topics related to physics and
animation. He has a BS from Cornell University and a PhD in Computer
Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before
joining Pixar, he was a Professor of Media Arts and Technology and
Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In
2012 he received a Scientific and Technical Academy Award (c) for his
work on fluid simulation.
